If you have recently been diagnosed with diabetes, or find it hard to control your diabetes, you can get lots of free help. Read more in the sections below.
If you are not sure how to access any of these options, please speak to our reception team. We are here to help you find the best way to manage your diabetes.

It is easy to use and has lots of information to help you manage your diabetes - and it's all free! You can securely access your own up-to-date diabetes clinic results and do online courses to learn about diabetes in your own time. 🔻 NHS Healthy Living
Healthy Living is a free online programme, available to people living with type 2 diabetes, that provides support to manage your condition. It is available to people aged over 18, including carers and family members. The programme has been proven to help reduce blood glucose and BMI, and to increase people’s confidence in managing their diabetes.

🔻 Group Consultations
These free sessions are led by Dr. Srisatkunam at Levenshulme Medical Practice: You can join a group consultation to meet other patients with diabetes and learn together. Sharing your experiences with others can be helpful and encouraging. Call reception and ask to book on to a 'Diabetes Group Consultation' or email us. |
🔻 Diabetes Path To Remission Programme
For some people, a special diet program using meal replacement shakes can help put diabetes into remission. If you are interested, we can refer you to this program to help you lose weight and control your blood sugar levels. 🔻 Expert Patient Programme
You can join a free group consultation to meet other patients with diabetes and learn together. Sharing your experiences with others can be helpful and encouraging.
